CHARLOTTE RELOCATION · NEW CONSTRUCTION · LUXURY HOMES
Thinking about moving to Charlotte?
You’re in the right place.
Neighborhoods, homes, schools, commutes, coffee shops, new construction (and all the things you don’t know to Google yet).
YOUR CHARLOTTE-AREA AGENT
The best real estate decisions start long before we find the house.
I specialize in helping buyers relocate to Charlotte, with a focus on luxury homes, new construction, and the little pockets of the city that can be hard to understand when you don’t live here yet.
How I can help
Relocating to Charlotte
Video showings, neighborhood videos and a fully mapped-out visit if you’re flying in. Some of my out-of-state buyers even buy sight unseen.
New construction
Builders, homesites, and the upgrades worth paying for (and the ones I’d skip). Text me before you tour: some builders need your agent named at the first visit.
Luxury homes
The beautiful kitchen, yes. But also the lot behind it, the street it sits on, the school assignment and the drive you’ll make every Tuesday afternoon.

hey, I’m Meredith
I know what it’s like to be new here.
I moved to Charlotte with two kids, a business, and a whole life that needed to be rebuilt in a new city.
And here’s what I learned pretty quickly: relocating isn’t really about finding a house. The house is actually one of the easier parts. It’s figuring out where your life is going to happen.
Which neighborhood feels like you. Where you’ll grab coffee on a Tuesday morning. Which Target will become your Target. How long school drop-off actually takes. Where you’ll work out, get your hair done, meet a friend for a drink, spend a Saturday afternoon.
And maybe the biggest one: where you’ll find your people.
I had to figure all of that out too. I had to learn Charlotte beyond the map — settle my girls into new schools, find our routines, learn which parts of town made sense for the way we actually live, and slowly turn a city where I didn’t know where anything was into a place that started to feel like ours.
There were a lot of little moments along the way
- The first coffee shop I wanted to go back to.
- Knowing which roads to avoid at certain times of day.
- Recognizing people at the gym.
- Finding our favorite places around town.
- Watching my girls start building lives that existed here instead of back there.
And eventually realizing I wasn’t constantly thinking, I’m new here, anymore.
I was just…
My own move changed the way I work with people relocating to Charlotte. Of course I’ll help you figure out neighborhoods, homes, new construction, commute times and what your budget buys in different parts of the city. But I also know you’re trying to answer a much bigger question:
Can I see my life here?
So when you ask me where you should live, I’m going to ask more than how many bedrooms you need.
I want to know where you’re going to work. How old your kids are. What you do on Saturday mornings. Whether you want to walk to dinner or come home to an acre. Whether you’d rather be ten minutes from your favorite coffee shop or ten minutes from absolutely nobody.
Because I’ve done the relocation spreadsheets and the school research and the Google Maps rabbit holes. But I’ve also done the part that comes after the moving truck leaves.
Finding my places, finding my people, watching my kids begin to find theirs.
And I’d love to make Charlotte feel a little less unfamiliar while you find yours.

NEIGHBORHOODS
Which part of Charlotte feels like you?
Master-planned communities, top-rated schools, and the easiest place to plug in and feel at home fast.
More space, more privacy, a quieter pace, and highly rated Union County schools.
Charlotte’s go-to for upscale living: luxury shopping and top restaurants, minutes from Uptown.
A charming small town with a walkable downtown, weekend farmers markets and family-friendly festivals.
The heartbeat of Charlotte. High-rise living, walk-to-work convenience, sports and nightlife.
Suburban ease meets Lake Norman living, with greenways, parks and Birkdale Village.
Not sure where you fit? That’s my favorite question.
Kind words
Moving to a brand-new city and navigating an unfamiliar market can feel extremely overwhelming… It felt like having both an incredible realtor and a local friend looking out for us every step of the way.
“During one of the hardest seasons our family has ever faced, Meredith wasn’t just our realtor, she became a true friend… If you’re looking for someone who knows real estate and leads with heart, you’ve found the right person!”
“She worked with us for almost a year to refine our search (because we were picky) and finally find the perfect home. We loved Meredith so much we even referred family to her.”
“One thing that really stood out to me was Meredith’s ability to negotiate the sale while also helping manage my expectations… I always knew she was in my corner.”
